The Final Edit – Terms and Conditions

Deposits of 25% of the total booking fee are due at the time of booking and are none refundable for any cancellations which made with less than 3-weeks notice.

A 50% deposit refund will be offered for any cancellations made within 5 weeks of the date of your booking, the other 50% will be held by The Final Edit as a booking fee for administration and date securing, along with any materials already purchased for your booking.

Should you need to cancel your booking and can provide over 5 weeks of notice then we will honour 100% of the deposit to be refunded minus a 10% administration fee.

Final balances are to be settled no later than 7 days before the event taking place. Final balances are therefore settled and non refundable once paid.

Should you need to cancel with less than 7 days of notice 100% of the fee is therefore retained.

In the event of your event being cancelled due to the Government enforcement only of COVID 19 we will be happy to honour your booking for an alternative date at no extra charge.

If you choose to cancel your booking entirely then our usual terms and conditions apply in regards to refunds of deposits or final balances paid.

Should there be ‘exceptional’ circumstances we will be happy to look at this on a case by case basis.

All equipment is for hire only.

Costs cover delivery, set up, securing and collection. All other accessories are as an extra and are chargeable per item.

Delivery, set up and collection times will be negotiated between The Final Edit and the client.

Once delivered it is the duty of the client to ensure that the equipment is supervised at all times and is not subjected to any damage/theft.

Any damage/theft occurred will be charged back to the client for the full cost of repair including labour and/or the cost of a replacement entirely.

In the rare case of any of the equipment being seized by any legal force whilst with the hirer then the cost of retrieving / replacing the equipment will be charged back to the client.

The Final Edit will not supply equipment to participate towards any illegal activity.

Children must be supervised at all times on Soft Play equipment, bouncy castles, treat tables and any other equipment which can be deemed as hazardous without correct adult supervision.

There is to be no food / drink consumed whilst using the soft play or bouncy castle equipment

Please remove shoes whilst using both the soft play and bouncy castles.

All equipment is to be kept away from any naked flames. Open fires are strictly forbidden.

All equipment is to be used on private property only.

 

Bouncy Castle Hire Agreement contract.

You, the HIRER are responsible whilst hiring this Bouncy Castle to ensure that all possible steps are taken to avoid injury or damage to the Inflatable. Please ensure that the following Safety Instructions and guides are followed: We strongly advise that you seek your own liability insurance if you are concerned about the cover this contract allows.

  • No food or drinks or gum to be allowed on or near the inflatable Bouncy Castle which will avoid choking and damage (Please note if the Inflatable is collected in a dirty condition or damaged then the person hiring it will incur a cleaning and, or repairing charge)

  • All footwear, glasses, jewellery, badges MUST be removed before using the Bouncing Castle.

  • No face paints, party poppers, streamers, silly string or ink-based products to be used either on or near the

    Bouncy Castle.

  • No smoking or cooking equipment near the Bouncy Castle.

  • Important Climbing, hanging or sitting on walls is DANGEROUS and under no circumstances should this be allowed.

  • A responsible Adult must supervise the Bouncy Castle at all times. Alcohol or any other substance is forbidden whilst using or supervising the castle.

  • Make sure that the Bouncy Castle is not overcrowded, and limit numbers to 4-6 fully grown adults subject to size.

  • Prevent Horseplay, please ensure there is no pushing, colliding, fighting or behaving in a manner likely to injure

    or cause distress to others. Somersaults are strictly forbidden as these are very dangerous on this type of equipment.

  • Do not allow anyone to bounce on the front safety step as you could easily bounce off the inflatable and get hurt.

    The step is there to assist users in getting on or off!

  • It is essential to ensure that no-one with a history of back or neck problems is allowed on the Bouncy Castle and also anyone who is feeling unwell.

  • Do not allow anyone to be on the Bouncy Castle during inflation or deflation as this is DANGEROUS.

  • No pets, toys or sharp instruments to be allowed on or near the Bouncy Castle.

  • Please ensure that no one attempts somersaults and are clothed appropriately and that nothing can fall out of their pockets.

  • Ensure that an area of 6 feet (2 metres) around the unit is completely clear. THE BLOWER SHOULD BE AT LEAST 1 METRE AWAY FROM THE BOUNCER.

  • The Bouncy Castle should not be used if it becomes wet on the jumping area. If no shower cover is fitted and in the event of rain, the unit should not be used

  • In the event of heavy rain, it is strongly recommended that the Bouncy Castle be switched off. Any wetness, including bubbling (which is normal) can be dried with a towel.

  • In the event that the blower stops working, please ensure all users get off the inflatable immediately. The blower has a safety reset button, try pressing this, also check the fuses and make sure the blower tube or deflation tube has not come undone or something has not blown onto and is obstructing the blower. In the event that it overheats, or loses power, switch the blower off at the mains, then switch it back on again 1 or 2 minutes later, and it should restart. If it does not, inform us straight away.

    Please note that all persons using this Bouncy Castle do so at their own risk.

  • The person/s or organisation hiring this Inflatable equipment will NOT be responsible/liable for any damage or injury occurring from or as a result of misuse or reckless use.

  • These guidelines are for the safety of all people using this equipment, and it is the sole responsibility of the hirer to ensure they are fully adhered to at all times

Our Company The Final Edit cannot accept any responsibility for any injury caused to anyone using this equipment.

I have read the above agreement and fully understand and accept the conditions as above. I am aware that whilst in my care I am fully responsible for the inflatable and will pay for any loss or damage that may occur, this will include the inflatable being returned in an unacceptable condition, i.e.: If it is in a dirty or muddy condition, I will be expected to pay an additional cleaning charge. I have checked with the operator that the inflatable bouncing castle, has been erected and secured properly.

If you are the nominated supervisor you have been selected by the Hirer to accept the above on their behalf. It is your responsibility as the nominated supervisor to enforce to the above, but liability still remains with the Hirer. They have

selected you as the responsible person to oversee the install, usage and derig of this equipment and has signed a contract confirming their approval of you signing this document on their behalf.

 

Glitter Bar Bookings

The Final Edit will arrive prior to the agreed booking time to prepare the glitter station area ensuring it is ready to begin the service at the agreed time for a continuous service of 2 hours.

Upon completion of the service, The Final Edit will begin a close down procedure, unless a further agreement is made on the day between **** and ourselves only.

We ask that a suitable well- lit area is provided for the use of our services. This should be around the size of 2mx2m to ensure a comfortable working environment for our artists.

If lighting is an issue, please inform us prior to our arrival and to then please ensure that our area provided has access to a power supply.

Please ensure that the area provided will not be subject to congestion by heavy footfall to ensure the quality of work provided is at its upmost.

The Final Edit will provide all working equipment which include, decoration, signage and chairs unless an alternative to this has been agreed with the client.

We do require that you could ask your venue to supply a table to work from.

We will provide a full range of products available for selection by guests to have free choice on colours and application styles.

We ask that one application per person is adhered to especially at busy periods at the glitter station. We are happy to provide secondary applications if the station becomes quieter towards the end of the booking time. This is to ensure we can provide a full outreach to as many guests as possible at your event.

We reserve the right to refuse applications to anyone who is rude or abusive to any of our artists.

Our artists will close down the glitter bar if any products are damaged or stolen from our possessions during service. We will remain closed until products have been returned back to us. Damage to any product will be charged back to the client.

The Final Edit will not provide a service upon any areas deemed as inappropriate.

We ask that the station along with its equipment is respected at all times and is not used as a disposal unit for empty drinks glasses/rubbish and/or for leaning/resting purposes.
